Would you wear a piece jewellery to honour baby loss or miscarriage?
Jewellery trends come and go but do an internet search on memorial jewellery and you will see a rise in websites and funeral parlours offering memorial keepsake jewellery - jewellery which is worn to remember a loved one, and there are plenty of styles to choose from.
For those of you who don't know, cremation urn jewellery are special lockets which house the cremated ash of a loved one or pet and look just like lockets. Other companies specialise in fusing glass and cremated ash, creating beautiful glass rings and pendants while other jewellery makers turn locks of hair or ash into beautiful certified diamonds.
Some people may not feel entirely comfortable with this type of jewellery but feel the need to commemorate a loved one's passing with a piece of jewellery, something personal to them. Others, who have suffered a miscarriage, also feel the need to mark the passing in some way. Urn Jewellery have launched a new range of baby loss jewellery which offers the wearer the chance to personalise each piece and in doing so they make it both unique and personal to themselves. Names, dates and birth stones can to added to really customise the jewellery.
Finding a UK supplier for the baby loss jewellery proved difficult but eventually Urn Jewellery sourced their jewellery from a leading UK jewellery maker Emma from Emroyjewels.co.uk. Each piece is handmade and messages are hand stamped by Emma herself, making each jewellery piece a fitting remembrance of a life loved and lost.
