Are there any videos online that show exactly how to use Metal Clay with a conventional gas oven or stove top?
I want to add a rough metal edge to natural agate and bloodstone cabs. Any Silver, bronze or even copper metal clays. And I want to know how to do it without buying a kiln. I cannot afford this in my beginning stages of jewelry making. Please help

From my understanding though you can't use a regular oven because you have to get the temps up. You can use direct heat with the stove top or butane torch.

Gas Stove: A regular gas burner can also be used for low-fire varieties of metal clay that are 25 grams or less in size. It's best to cover the burner with a metal mesh to make sure your piece doesn't fall into it, and of course, for safety reasons you can't just stick something on your fired up burner and walk away. As with all types of firing equipment, proper ventilation is essential when firing.
